Head over to BULDOGIES which is a family-owned restaurant that will remember your name, treat you like family and have you craving their hot dogs on Sundays when they are closed. Try the Montgomery Texas Dog, Sriacha Fries, and Chicago Dog. Basically, just try everything on their menu because all of it is good and will leave you satisfied and wishing for a second stomach.

You cannot go wrong with any of the items you get on the menu.

This place has been around since I was a kid and there’s a reason why. Moving from a location that used to be a movie theatre, this place is now on Lake Conroe, and not only can you enjoy your delicious food, but you also get to enjoy the breathtaking view of Lake Conroe. When you go here make sure to try their mouth-watering fajitas, their large margaritas, HEAVENLY green sauce, Queso Blanco, and enchilada plates.

4. Monty’s Lighthouse

Monty’s Lighthouse is a seafood restaurant recently established by the current owner of Fajita Jacks and his success from his first restaurant carried over to here. If you are NOT a big fan of Seafood, trust me you will be once you visit this restaurant. Try there stuffed flounder, Juicy Salmon, Catfish Po Boy, Shrimp and Grits, Crab Cakes, and so on. The menu is endless and the view looking on to Lake Conroe is astonishing and beautiful. The decor is also a +1 for the restaurant so not only are you getting good food and modern deco, you get to see Lake Conroe for what it truly is.

5. Papa’s On The Lake

This restaurant stands out from the crowd literally. It has always been on Lake Conroe since I was born and you definitely cannot miss it when you are passing through Lake Conroe. Its exterior is purple and vibrant and unique, so is its food. Try their Cajun Shrimp Tacos, Wings, Chicken Fingers, Seasoned Onion Rings, Fish and Chips, and Margaritas. BE WARNED if you are going with your friends you will be here for hours because they have a small pool, waterfall, volleyball court, and pool tables.
